Hai Phong Logistics Association (HPLA) was established under Decision No. 2416/QD-UBND dated August 24, 2021 of Hai Phong City People's Committee. HPLA operates with the participation of organizations, businesses and individuals operating in the fields of transportation, trade, freight forwarding and logistics services according to commercial law in Hai Phong city. The mission of the association is to dedicate to the sustainable development of the city.
The establishment of HPLA is considered an important turning point for the development strategy of logistics in Hai Phong city. HPLA also meets the aspirations of businesses operating in the field of logistics in the city. The purpose of HPLA's operation is for participants to cooperate, connect and support each other in developing the industries to improve the operational efficiency of enterprises.
Despite the extremely difficult impacts of the covid-19 pandemic, climate change and the unstable world economic situation, the association remains resilient. With the determination of the Board of Directors, the city departments and agencies and especially the support and trust of its members, HPLA has remained its sustainable and inclusive growth.
With the slogan of Cooperation - Innovation - Development, the association is expected be a place to connect domestic and foreign freight forwarding and logistics service providers. HPLA prospectively keeps creating the role of a spearhead economic industry of the port city and the whole country in line with the general development trend. The association will continuously contribute to the goal of turning Hai Phong into a logistics service center of national and international stature.
